Shipping & Returns

Welcome to Ophelia's Flowers. We are a homebased floral studio creating and delivering fresh flowers with care throughout our local area. Every bouquet is handmade using seasonal fresh flowers and prepared as beautifully as possible for delivery. 

Local Delivery

We currently offer local delivery only within selected areas. All flowers will be delivered to the address provided by the customer at checkout. Please, ensure all delivery information is accurate, including postcode, contact number, and any helpful delivery instructions.

If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, we will:

  • Leave the flowers in a safe, sheltered place where possible

  • Deliver to a neighbour and leave a note through the door

  • Attempt to contact the recipient if needed

​

We always aim to leave flowers somewhere cool, dry and secure. However, we cannot guarantee weather conditions or predict changes in temperature once flowers have been delivered. 

​

if we do not feel there is a safe location to leave the flowers, or if no suitable neighbour is available, the order will be returned to our floral studio. We will then attempt to contact the recipient to rearrange delivery, usually for the following day.

 

Freshness & Flower Care

All bouquets/arrangements are made using fresh flowers and foliage. Due to the natural nature of flowers, slight variations in colour, size, or flower variety may occur depending on seasonal availability.

We take great pride in providing the freshest flowers possible. To help your flowers last longer, we strongly recommend following the care instructions provided with your order.

  • Trim stems before placing in water 

  • Change water regularly 

  • Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heat and radiators

Returns & Refunds 

Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers, we do not accept general returns.

However, customer satisfaction is very important to us. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with details and photographs of the issue where possible.

We will review each concern individually and, depending on the circumstances, may offer:

  • A replacement bouquet

  • Partial refund 

  • Full refund

Refunds or replacements will not be provided for issues caused by:

  • Incorrect delivery information provided at checkout 

  • Flowers left unattended at the customers request 

  • Natural wear after delivery due to improper care or weather conditions

Delivery Delays

While we always aim to deliver on time, delays may occasionally occur due to weather, traffic, road closures, or unforeseen circumstances. if there are any major delays affecting your order, we will contact you as soon as possible.
